佛原本没有真解的包罗万象
世代的努力皆尽付诸东流
到头来连个头绪都没有辩明
任何一点儿希望
也被人性的弱点淹没
一个土著王国的王子
似乎悟到了真谛而终生追索
他因此而放弃了王位
博得四海涌来的顶礼膜拜
千千万万的头像遍布世界
诸多庙堂书写着他的名号
可还没有一个人得救
只是世代人心
为表达他们的迷惘
昼夜诵经不停

Buddha
Understanding has impossibility written all over it
Many tried but failed to decode its intricacy
Overwhelming odds are against any exposition
Human weakness is so apparent
that hope is nowhere in sight
The prince of an earthy kingdom
saw some light and applied his life to search
He gave up his share of a kingdom thus
worship flooded him from million miles away
His bust was mass-produced in many places
Thousands of temples bear his name
So far no one has been saved
Only a great collection of hearts
display their genuine gratitude
and repeat his words day and night
